Interview follow up

Post Interview Follow Up.  What should I do?  

Courtesy first – send a thank you note/email.  No excuses.

They gave you their time & it’s another opportunity to set yourself apart from your competition.

Send a thank you within 24hrs.  Same day if possible.

No excuses – just do it.

What should I say?

1) Thank them -  for their time & consideration.

2) Reiterate - that you are extremely interested in the job.

3) Reinforce -  why you want to work for them (relate to their goals – so mutual goals)

4) Remind them - what you bring to the table to help them with their goals.

5) Ending Salutation - Tell them you would really like to keep this conversation going.

(it shows positivity to future interview engagements)

Don’t make it too long.
